We have appointed Andrew Carrier as our Chief Marketing Officer with a remit that includes the company’s branding, communications and marketing worldwide.

Andrew joined Quant in December 2021 with more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector, including four at Deutsche Bank – where he had global responsibility for the marketing of the bank’s securities services – and eight with secure financial messaging and standards cooperative SWIFT.

While at SWIFT, his roles included product marketing, leading the global marketing communications team, and taking charge of communications for Sibos, the world’s premier financial services event which connects thousands of executives, decision makers and thought leaders from across the industry every year.

Our Founder and CEO Gilbert Verdian says, “we’re delighted to have Andrew on board. His experience spans fintech, payments and capital markets, which is precisely the unique intersection Quant sits at: where blockchain meets the demanding needs of highly regulated, security-conscious financial institutions, government agencies and enterprises.”

One of my first jobs was marketing financial middleware,” says Andrew. “So, I’ve long understood that without interoperability, substantial costs and risk can quickly seep into a firm’s operations. Quant has solved this problem for blockchain, making it possible to easily develop apps and issue tokens that will work across any DLT network without specialist knowledge or undue delays. With much of finance poised to move to this technology, it’s a very exciting area to be focused on.
